Engine and powertrain test facilities for systems with up to 3.5MW output capacity; Powertrain anechoic test facilities 100 Hz 1/3 octave cut-off frequency (ISO 3745) and up to 400kW absorption or 100kW motoring; Rig systems for development on engine/powertrain components and sub-assemblies; Small component motoring rigs; Cylinder head and block ‘hydropulse’ rigs simulating the effects of combustion pressure; Engine simulator rigs capable of replicating the torsional characteristics of the fired engine; Hot gas rigs for thermal studies of engine components; After treatment flow distribution rigs; Airflow rigs for port and intake system development; Bending and torsional fatigue rigs; Connecting rod fatigue test rigs; Coolant and lubrication flow rigs; Fuel injection equipment rigs; Valve train functionality testing; Emissions testing; noise; vibration
